It is essential that an off-grid PV system design meets the electrical needs of the space that it is suppling power to. We conduct a thorough load analysis to determine how much power our customer will actually use throughout the four seasons. The design is based on information gathered through this analysis.

Requirements:

• Load analysis and reducing energy demand through energy efficiency are considered before design and installation.
• Direct southern exposure highly preferred
• East or West oriented exposure will yield output, although efficiency declines about 10-15%
• Sun for at least 4-6 hours per day (summer / winter)
• Open area clear of any shading
• Roof must be in good condition (less than 14 years old for typical shingle)
