How Solar Pool Heating Systems Work

1. The desired water temperature is set.
2. A sensor determines the most efficient time for the system to operate.
3. Cold water is moved by the pool's filter pump from the pool to the solar collectors.
4. The cold pool water flows through the solar thermal collectors, allowing it to collect heat energy from the sun.
5. The resultant warm water then flows back into the pool.

Above-Ground Pools:
