OPALCO Incentive

Whidbey Sun & Wind is a registered installer for the OPALCO 'MORE' Program. All projects must be pre-approved by OPALCO in order to recieve these incentives.

OPALCO’s new green power program, 'MORE' (Member Owned Rrenewable Energy), is funded by voluntary member donations to provide a production credit to local renewable member generators. The incentive amount is currently $0.30/kWh for grid-tied solar electric (PV) systems coming online through 2012.
